Crystal Roses can be found as enemies at Rohbach and at Terjon Temple.

- By transforming a Man Trap card with 2000 EXP
- By opening a chest in Gromtull Desert. Found in the middle of a row of 3 chests in a small sealed cave that will open when all 4 switches each by an oasis are pressed.
- By capturing one in Rohbach
- By finding a hidden card at Rohbach. Found in the corner of the crescent-shaped hole on the lower path just past the fence to the right of the level's entrance.
- By choosing one in the Level Bonus for Rohbach. 3 Crystal Rose cards are available.
- By opening a chest on the Bridge of Sarvan. Found in the 2nd reachable chest in a row of 2 on the right side of the island under the bridge.
- By opening a chest at Bernden Field. Found in a row of 3 chests next to the hidden monument. This card is in the chest closest to the monument.
- By opening a chest at Lake Bestriel. Found next to the first set of ruins.
- By opening a chest at Lake Bestriel. Found next to the lake edge and before the ruins with a rope ladder.
- By capturing one at Terjon Temple
- By copying one using 1500 EXP

Crystal Roses can be found as enemies in the Upper Chambers of the Runestone Caverns.

- By capturing one in the Upper Chambers
- By choosing one in the Level Bonus for the Upper Chambers. 2 Crystal Rose cards are available. This Level Bonus can only be accessed once in the US and PAL versions. In RUNE II, it can be accessed after the 1st mission whenever the Brine Dragon is slain.
- By purchasing one from a Card Shop for 270G. Available in Shop 3 of the Kadishu Card Shop and the post-game inventories of both Card Shops.
- By opening a chest in Obenoix Gorge. Found in the chest closest to the Phantom Ship on the small island near the second Sasquatch battle. Requires a flying Transform type card to reach.
- By importing cards from a Lost Kingdoms save file after clearing Sacred Battle Arena 2. The option to do this can only be taken once.
- By copying one using 12000 EXP
